It comes from the vineyards of Gaja, Costa Russi. It has fruity character and its fragrance is well-mixed. It can be aged up to 30 years.
The word Costa means in the local dialect of Piemonte the most exposed side of a hill and Russi was the nickname of the owner of the vineyard.
